SCHOOLBOY’S LIFE

58 min. 2002, Finland

Directed, shot and produced by Lasse Naukkarinen

«Schoolboy’s Life» is a continuation of Lasse Naukkarinen’s «Artist’s Life», his son Esa’s passionate relationship with creating pictures and dressing up in imagination-driven clothes. The documentary is an intimate film on childhood. It shows Esa’s first three years in elementary school. Esa continues to be fascinated with pictures and dance. On a rocky seaside cliff, Esa performs his own imaginative interpretations of a Balinese dance. In school he also practices creative movement. Under the direction of a professional dancer, the extravaganza « Spring in the Body» dance is performed. The film ends in the spring of the third grade. Esa turns ten and big brother Leo gets his first guitar.

KOOLIPOISI ELU

Autor Lasse Naukkarinen

Lasse Naukkarineni film on hümn loovusele.
